
Strategic Priorities
- Advocate on behalf of individuals experiencing homelessness who have a mental illness, and may have a co-occurring substance use disorder.
Objectives:
- Influence policy makers and funders on decisions impacting the target population.
- Promote systems integration and barrier removal.
- Promote the re-balancing of the current funding system.
- Increase its visibility and educate the public through its products.
Objectives:
- Educate the public about individuals experiencing homelessness and mental illness through the development of trainings and publications.
- Develop a diverse membership and foster committee leadership and growth.
Objectives:
- Ensure key systems and players are represented on the committee.
- Ensure the committee is represented in all other relevant groups.
- Increase consumer representation.
- Be a forum for sharing resource and funding information.
Objectives:
- Share funding and resource opportunities, and agency updates.
- Disseminate information and solicit feedback as necessary.
