Strategic Priorities
  • To advocate on behalf of individuals experiencing homelessness who have a mental illness or co-occurring substance use disorder and mental illness.

  • Influence policy makers and funders on decisions impacting the target population.
  • Refresh and distribute position paper.
  • Examine systems issues and make recommendations for change when necessary.
  • To increase visibility and educate the public by promoting itself and its products.

  • Diversify marketing strategies.
  • Develop publications.
  • Educate public about individuals experiencing homelessness and mental illness.
  • Generate revenue to support goals.
  • To develop a diverse membership and foster committee leadership and growth.

Objectives:

  • Include all levels of government in activities.
  • Continue to involve and collaborate with key players.
  • Increase consumer representation.
  • To be a forum for the sharing of resource and funding information.

Objectives:

  • Inform committee members of funding and resource opportunities.
  • Provide committee members with agency updates.
