Strategic Priorities
  • Advocate on behalf of individuals experiencing homelessness who have a mental illness, and may have a co-occurring substance use disorder.

Objectives:

  • Influence policy makers and funders on decisions impacting the target population.
  • Promote systems integration and barrier removal.
  • Promote the re-balancing of the current funding system.
  • Increase its visibility and educate the public through its products.

Objectives:

  • Educate the public about individuals experiencing homelessness and mental illness through the development of trainings and publications.
  • Develop a diverse membership and foster committee leadership and growth.

Objectives:

  • Ensure key systems and players are represented on the committee.
  • Ensure the committee is represented in all other relevant groups.
  • Increase consumer representation.
  • Be a forum for sharing resource and funding information.

Objectives:

  • Share funding and resource opportunities, and agency updates.
  • Disseminate information and solicit feedback as necessary.
